Draft Coastal Hazard Risk Management and Adaptation Plan

Notice is given that the Shire of Murray is advertising its Draft Coastal Hazard, Risk Management and Adaptation Plan (CHRMAP) for Public comment.  

This Plan aims to guide future management and planning decisions within the Shire’s estuarine and tidally influenced riverine areas, with a focus on those areas projected to be or to potentially become at risk from erosion and inundation over the next 100 years.

Copies of the draft CHRMAP, a summary guidance document and supporting information are available for inspection at the Shire of Murray Administration Office, 1915 Pinjarra Road, Pinjarra and at the Murray Library, corner of Pinjarra Road and Forrest Street, Pinjarra.  Alternatively, these documents can be found online here.

To find out more, two information drop in sessions will be held at the Pinjarra Courthouse, 22 George Street, Pinjarra on:

  • Wednesday 26 July between 5pm and 8pm; and
  • Saturday 29 July between 9am and 12pm
