Community Sponsorship Fund
The Shire supports local residents who are selected to participate in sporting, recreational or academic events at a state, national or international level.
Eligible applicants can receive $200 towards costs associated with attending the event.
To be eligible, the event must be held more than 200 km from the Shire of Murray Administration Office.
The fund opens twice each financial year. Complete applications are assessed in the order they are received, and a funding round may close early once all available funds have been allocated.
Funding is paid after the event. Applicants must submit a short acquittal form within 60 days of the event before payment can be made.
How to apply
Step 1 - Prepare supporting documents
Applications must include supporting documentation regarding your selection to participate. This will generally come from the state-representing body.
