Food Stall Annual Trading Permit

A permit is required for businesses intending to sell food from a stall including mobile food vendors selling take-away food, at locations within Murray.

A trading permit generally applies for ongoing trading, while a food stall permit generally applies to occasional stalls.

Step 1 - Complete an application form

Step 2 - Prepare supporting documents 

  • Plan indicating location of proposed trading activity
  • Copy of Public Liability Insurance
  • Copy of Food Business Registration
  • Police clearance no more than thee (3) months old

Step 3 - Submit application

If you don't want to submit your application online, you can submit it:

Step 4 - Make payment 

Application fee: $50

Online Applications:

We will contact you to arrange payment of the application fee.

In Person:

Cash, card, cheques and money orders are accepted.

By Post:

Cheque and money orders are accepted.

Step 5 - Shire assessment

We will contact you should we require any further information and should all conditions be satisfactorily met, we will issue approval.
