Bindjareb Black Coffee

Wednesday 18th March 2026

Brought to you by Waalitj Hub & the Peel Development Commission, Bindjareb's first Black Coffee Networking Event.

Join us for a relaxed and welcoming Coffee & Yarn designed especially for First Nations business owners and entrepreneurs. Facilitated by Kallan Nannup, this gathering is all about coming together, sharing stories, and strengthening the connections that help our businesses and communities thrive.

Over a cuppa, we’ll yarn about the real experiences of running a business—what’s working, what’s challenging, and where the boundaries and opportunities lie. Facilitators will be on hand to gently guide the conversation, ensuring everyone has space to speak, listen, and be heard.

This is a chance to:

  • Connect with other First Nations business owners in our region
  • Share insights, challenges, and successes in a culturally safe space
  • Learn about upcoming workshops, programs, and opportunities
  • Build relationships that support growth, collaboration, and community wellbeing
  • Offer feedback on what support you’d like to see in the future

Whether you’re just starting out or have been in business for years, your voice and experience matter. Come along, enjoy a coffee, and be part of a growing network of First Nations businesses supporting each other.

This event is brought to you by Waalitj Hub with support from the Peel Development Commission and the Peel Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
