Scheme Amendment No.327 - Rezoning Lot 106 Newton Street Dwellingup

Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Murray has initiated a Scheme Amendment which proposes to rezone Lot 106 Newton Street, Dwellingup from ‘Public Purposes’ to Residential’ (R10).

The purpose of the Amendment is to facilitate a future residential development on the site. The proposed R10 density coding will support low density housing, consistent with the surrounding residential character of Dwellingup. Any future development will be subject to design controls that ensure compatibility with existing lot sizes, built form and the town’s distinctive landscape setting. Key matters such as access, vegetation retention, and visual impact will be carefully managed through the development process.

The amendment documentation and submission forms are available for inspection at the Shire of Murray Administration Office, 1915 Pinjarra Road, Pinjarra and at the Dwellingup Trails and Visitor Centre at 4 Marinup St, Dwellingup. Alternatively, the documents can be viewed at www.murray.wa.gov.au via ‘Public Notices’ link.
