Local Government Act 1995 - Bush Fires Act 1954

In accordance with section 3.12(3) of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is hereby given that the Shire of Murray proposes to make the following local law:

Shire of Murray Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2024

PURPOSE: The purpose of the local law is to make provisions about the establishment, organisation, maintenance, administration and funding of bush fire brigades.

EFFECT: The effect of the local law is that bush fire brigades will be organised and managed to comply with the provisions of the local law.

A copy of the proposed local law may be obtained from the Shire of Murray Administration Centre at 1915 Pinjarra Road, PINJARRA or it is available here.

The closing date for submissions is 23 February 2024
