Disposal of Property Section 3.58(3) Local Government Act 1995

A market rental valuation obtained on 11 November 2022 from a licensed property valuer established the market rent for the area to be occupied by way of lease to be $24,600 per annum, plus GST.

The basis of the lease proposal is that the consideration to be received for rent is $1.00 per annum, plus GST for the first three years to assist the business in establishing itself. The Lessee will be responsible for all normal outgoings, maintenance and repair of all equipment and chattels on the premises.

The annual rent from year four will be subject to a market rental valuation or will be as otherwise decided by Council.

Written submissions, addressed to the Shire of Murray Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 21, Pinjarra, 6208 on the proposed lease are invited. The submission period closes at 2pm on 25 January 2024.
