Delegated Authority Variation to Prohibited Burning Time

Bush Fires Act 1954

In accordance with the provisions of section 17(7) of the Bush Fires Act 1954, as delegated by the Council of the Shire of Murray jointly to the Shire President and the Chief Bush Fire Control Officer, the “Prohibited Burning Time” for the Shire of Murray has been extended and will conclude at 23.59hrs on Tuesday 14 April 2026.

In accordance with the provisions of section 18(5) of the Bush Fires Act 1954, as delegated by the Council of the Shire of Murray jointly to the Shire President and the Chief Bush Fire Control Officer, the “Restricted Burning Time” for the Shire of Murray has been shortened and will commence at 00.00hrs on Wednesday 15 April 2026.
