Bush Fires Act 1954 - Appointment of Bush Fire Control Officers

It is hereby notified for public information that the following persons have been appointed as Bush Fire Control Officers by the Shire of Murray pursuant to section 38(1) of the Bush Fires Act 1954:

  • Chief Bush Fire Control Officer – Robert Wilson.
  • Deputy Chief Bush Fire Control Officers – Justyn Bennett, Jarron Vanelst and Brendan Webster.
  • Bush Fire Control Officers – John Douglas McLarty, Anthony Cocivera, Micheal Webster, Lawrence Caffin, Justin Crotty and Kevin Jones.
  • Bush Fire Control Officers – Permit Issuing Only – Chris Sattler, Stuart Kirkham, Dave Turner, Lorraine Webster, Brendan Webster, Andrew Taylor and Rachael Crotty.

The appointment of persons employed by the Shire of Murray as Bush Fire Control Officers are the Manager Ranger and Emergency Management, Emergency Management Resilience Coordinator, Emergency Management and Mitigation Coordinator, Rangers, Senior Ranger, Bush Fire Compliance Officer.

 All previous appointments published are revoked.
