Amendment No.331 to Local Planning Scheme No.4

The Shire of Murray is proposing to update its Local Planning Scheme No.4 (LPS4) to introduce minimum lot sizes within the following zones:
- Special Rural Zone – 2 Hectares
- Hills Landscape Protection Zone – 4 Hectares
This change will ensure that there are controls in place to guide subdivision and development in areas where minimum lot sizes are currently not specified.
It will not impact lots that already have a specified minimum lot size, including those with a smaller minimum lot size specified within the Schedules of LPS4.
The Shire is offering an array of opportunities to provide feedback. Documents explaining the proposals are available for viewing here or alternatively:
- at the Shire of Murray Administration Office, 1915 Pinjarra Road, Pinjarra
- at the Murray Library, cnr Pinjarra Road and Forrest Street, Pinjarra.
Written submissions should identify the proposal, include the name and address of the person making the submission and the property affected.
