The Roger May Machinery Museum has a fresh new look, with the recent completion of a new front veranda adding both charm and functionality to this well-loved local attraction.
The newly constructed east-facing veranda brings a whole new dimension to the building, offering additional space to display the museum’s fascinating collection of historical machinery and artefacts. Visitors can now enjoy a more welcoming and engaging experience while exploring the museum’s stories of Murray’s rich industrial and agricultural past.
Shire President Douglas McLarty said the completed upgrade is a fantastic outcome for the precinct.
"The Roger May Machinery Museum holds an important place in our community, and this upgrade ensures it continues to evolve as a vibrant and inviting space for all," added President McLarty.
Located in the heart of the Edenvale Heritage Precinct, the museum is now even better equipped to share the region’s history with locals and visitors.
The project was proudly funded by the Friends of Edenvale, Roger May Machinery Museum and the Shire of Murray, and Alcoa.
