The Shire of Murray Youth Team is excited to offer the Teen Makeup Workshop for young people aged 12 to 17 as part of our July School Holidays job readiness program.
Delivered by Beauty Unbound, this workshop is designed to help young people build confidence, develop positive self-care habits, and learn practical makeup and skincare skills they can use in everyday life.
In a fun, supportive, LGBTIQA+ friendly and judgment-free environment, participants will learn the fundamentals of skincare, how to care for their skin, and how to create a fresh, natural makeup look that enhances their features rather than hides them.
During the workshop, participants will learn:
• Basic skincare and self-care routines
• How to create a smooth makeup base
• Natural contouring and highlighting techniques
• How to achieve an everyday natural makeup look
• Makeup application skills they can confidently recreate at home
Each participant will also receive a take-home makeup palette to continue practising their skills after the workshop.
This workshop forms part of the Shire of Murray’s July School Holidays job readiness program, alongside the Resume & Interview Skills Workshop and Dress to Success Workshop, supporting young people to build confidence, presentation skills and work-ready knowledge.
This workshop is heavily subsidised by the Shire of Murray and costs only $15 per participant, instead of the full value of $75. As places are limited, priority will be given to young people who live in the Shire of Murray.
