Resume & Interview Skills Workshop

The Shire of Murray Youth Team is excited to offer a Resume & Interview Skills Workshop for young people aged 12 to 25 as part of our July School Holidays job readiness program.
Facilitated by SMYL Jobs and Skills, this practical workshop is designed to help young people feel more confident and prepared when applying for jobs, work experience, volunteering opportunities or future career pathways.
Participants will learn helpful tips for:
• Writing and updating a resume
• Understanding what to include in a job application
• Preparing for interviews
• Answering common interview questions
• Presenting their skills, strengths and experience
• Building confidence for their first steps into the workforce
This FREE workshop is a great opportunity for young people who are preparing for their first job, casual employment, work experience, volunteering or planning for future study and career options.
Young people may also be interested in attending the Dress to Success and Teen Makeup Workshop.
Participants under 18 years old must have a completed Youth Services Registration Form » Shire of Murray submitted prior to the event.
