Power Up! Exploring Renewable Energy (8-11yrs)

Join the Shire of Murray Library for this exciting program where we'll delve into the fundamentals of renewable energy, and explore solar, wind, and hydroelectric power through hands-on activities.

From building a solar oven and constructing solar-powered vehicles to designing wind turbines and creating mini hydroelectric dams, participants will experience the practical applications of these energy sources. They'll also tackle challenges like water filtration, the importance of clean water, and environmental stewardship.

This program offers an exciting journey into energy and how we can contribute to a greener world.

Please note this is a 4-week course and attendees will be expected to attend all 4 sessions.

Commencing on Saturday, August 17th, from 9.15am to 11.00am.

For ages 8-11yrs.
