Dungeon and Dragons Basics

Monday 19th January 2026

Curious about Dungeons & Dragons, just like the kids in Stranger Things? This beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect way to step into the world of imagination, adventure, and epic storytelling!

In this hands-on session, young adventurers will learn the absolute basics of playing D&D — how the game works, how to build their first character, and how to explore magical quests together. No experience is needed; just bring your creativity and a sense of adventure!

Participants will learn how to:

    • Create a unique character with abilities, strengths and a backstory

    • Understand simple rules, dice rolls and how the game flows

    • Work as a team to explore quests and solve challenges

    • Use imagination and role-play to bring stories to life

This workshop gives kids everything they need to confidently sit at the table and start adventuring. It’s fun, welcoming, beginner-focused and designed to spark creativity — perfect for anyone who’s always wanted to give D&D a try.

Come along, learn the basics, and begin your own epic journey!
