The Shire of Murray Youth Team is excited to offer the Dress to Success Workshop in collaboration with Vinnies Pinjarra Shop as part of our July School Holidays job readiness program.

This practical workshop is designed to support young people aged 12 to 25 to feel more confident and prepared when dressing for job interviews, work experience or their first job.

Participants will receive helpful tips from the Shire of Murray Youth Team about workplace clothing do’s and don’ts, including what may be suitable to wear for interviews and different work environments.

Participants will also have the opportunity to browse the Vinnies Pinjarra Shop and select suitable clothing to help them feel confident and work-ready.

The registration fee is $5 per participant and includes the opportunity to take home:

• One bottom item
• Two tops (e.g. blouse/shirt & jacket)
• One pair of shoes, subject to availability

This workshop is a great opportunity for young people who are preparing for their first interview, starting a new job, attending work experience or wanting to better understand workplace presentation.

This session forms part of the Shire of Murray’s July School Holidays job readiness program. Young people may also be interested in attending the Resume & Interview Skills Workshop and Teen Makeup Workshop.
