The Humphrey Park upgrade project will increase its appeal and facilities, for residents and visitors.

The park upgrade will further develop the recent improvements to the park which were completed as part of the subdivision development to the south-west corner, including a planted stormwater basin and concrete paths connecting to the street footpaths.

Incorporating community feedback provided during November 2023’s consultation process, the park facilities will include a kickabout space for informal play and exercise, play equipment with shade sails and recreational facilities including seating and picnic tables.

Drainage works to improve the existing drainage system within the road and east side of the park will also be undertaken.

Funding

The project has a budget allocation as part of the Shire's 2024-2025 capital works program with $150,000 from Lotterywest and further funding from Alcoa.
