The Shire recognises and supports residents selected to take part in sporting, recreational or academic events at a state, national or international level.

Eligible applicants can receive $200 towards event costs. The event must be outside a 200 km radius of the Shire Administration Office.

The fund opens twice each financial year. Complete applications are considered in the order received. A round may close early when all available funding has been allocated.

Payment is made after the event, once a short follow-up form called an acquittal has been submitted.
