Quandong Necklace-Making Workshop

Thursday 8th October 2026

Join award-winning Noongar artist Fiona Reidy from Djinda Kaal Dreaming for an immersive Quandong Necklace-Making Workshop.

Guided by Fiona, participants will create their own unique quandong necklace while exploring how traditional Indigenous techniques can be combined with contemporary jewellery design. Throughout the workshop, Fiona will share stories about Noongar culture and ways of life, encourage questions, and introduce participants to different jewellery-making techniques, creative tips and the important role of storytelling in art and culture.

This hands-on workshop offers a meaningful opportunity to learn, create and connect with Noongar culture while making a special piece of jewellery to take home.

Everyone is welcome to attend; however, this event is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Participants aged 12–17 years must have a completed Youth Services Registration Form » Shire of Murray before attending.

Places are limited, so bookings are essential.

Cost $15 per person.
