Get Online Week

Wednesday 21st October 2026

GET ONLINE, GET PREPARED, STAY SAFE

Join us at the Ravenswood Community Centre for a friendly and informative Get Online Week community event, where we’ll learn how technology can help us stay connected, informed and safe during an emergency.

Presenting will be the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES), who will cover how to navigate the EmergencyWA app, find emergency warnings and information, and get prepared before an emergency happens.

Followed by Tech Whiz Mel who will be exploring emergency smartphone features that could make a difference in an emergency and help you get more from your smartphone when you need it most.

You’ll get to enjoy free morning tea, meet and connect with others in your community and go in the draw for some fantastic door prizes!

Whether you’re confident with technology or just getting started, the presentations are designed to be friendly, practical and easy to follow.

Come along, learn something new, have a cuppa and discover how to Get Online, Get Prepared and Stay Safe!

We’d love to see you there!
