Licensing Services

As of Monday 6 July, 2026 (subject to change) the Department of Transport services are available at the Shire of Murray Administration Office. 

Please note that as the Shire of Murray is an agent for the Department of Transport, we are unable to discuss any licensing enquiries or transactions over the phone. Please visit the Department of Transport website or call them direct on

Once services open at the Shire, we ask for a little patience while everything settles into gear. If your licensing transaction isn’t urgent, you may wish to allow a little extra time during the first week or two of operation.

Computerised Theory Tests and Hazard Perception Tests: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:15pm

Please note: Practical Driving Assessments are not currently available at this time in Pinjarra.
