In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health and wellbeing of our community, especially those most at risk, Edenvale Homestead is closed until further notice.
As a valued community facility, we understand how important the precinct and associated user groups are to the vibrancy of Pinjarra. The situation is ever-evolving and as such we will continue to monitor the situation closely in order to reopen the precinct as soon as possible.
Edenvale Homestead is the award winning heritage listed home of former WA Premier, Sir Ross McLarty.
Edenvale Homestead is over 125 years old and has much to offer your small or large group. From a lovely Devonshire tea at the Edenvale Homestead Tearooms (please phone 08 9531 7633 for bookings of 10 or more people) or a wander through the impressive Roger May Machinery Museum, fabulous art and craft at the Murray Arts and Craft Society, locally produced artwork at Liveringa and beautifully made quilts from the Pinjarra Patchwork and Quilters Group. Take a walk down memory lane with The Murray Districts Historical Society’s gallery located near the treasured Heritage Rose Garden, opposite the fifth oldest church in Western Australia, St John’s.
If you have something more tech savvy in mind, please enquire about our Heritage Walking Trails at the Pinjarra Visitor Information Point, located in the Arts and Crafts Centre, with interactive QR codes for a more detailed historical encounter of the Pinjarra town site (walk approximately 3kms).
