Working in partnership with local community place-making group Pinjarra Connect, The Court House has been transformed into a vibrant place for community events, workshops and meetings. This includes co-working spaces for those wanting to network with other creative, entrepreneurial and/or small business owners, along with meeting and workshop spaces for the community, small business operators and local creatives. The space also includes a maker in residence where makers can produce, display and sell their products.
The space is open between 10:00am and 2:00pm daily with the maker in residence from Wednesday to Sunday.
Built in 1938 the Pinjarra Court House was a much anticipated building for the community and played an important role in the Ministry of Justice system, however, the final sitting of the Magistrates Court was held in December 2002 when the Court was closed.
