Received a parking infringement?

Parking infringements must be paid in full and by the due date. Otherwise the matter will be referred to the Fines Enforcement Registry and additional costs will apply.

An infringement may be reviewed if the driver can show that special circumstances contributed to receiving the infringement. Supporting evidence of exceptional circumstances may be required.

We will only accept an infringement appeal from the driver of the vehicle to which the infringement relates. Requests will not be accepted verbally by phone or in person.

What constitutes a parking offence?

  • You may receive an infringement if your vehicle:
  • Obstructs a driveway
  • Is not parked within a marked bay
  • Is parked on or over a footpath
  • Is parked on a verge without permission from the occupier or owner
  • Is parked in an ACROD bay without a current and valid ACROD permit displayed on the dashboard
  • Is parked/stopped at or near a bus stop
  • Is parked/stopped contrary to parking signage
  • Permits are not displayed clearly
