
The Pinjarra Cemetery is made up of several different burial sections, which includes the following:
- Roman Catholic
- Anglican
- Uniting Church
- Pioneer
- Garden Granite Niche Wall
- Limestone Plinths
- Garden Memorial Wall
- Non Denominational
- Lawn Cemetery
Burials are usually coordinated by a Funeral Director, who contacts the Shire of Murray to make the appropriate arrangements. Sites can be chosen by the family or alternatively chosen by the Cemetery Officer. A Grant of Right of Burial will be issued for the site once payment has been received.
Burial Times
Burials at Pinjarra Cemetery take place Tuesday-Friday between the hours of 10am and 2pm. Forty-eight hours notice is required to conduct a burial service, with a Burial Application to be submitted to the Shire of Murray’s Infrastructure Services department prior to the burial taking place.
