About the Role
The Shire of Murray has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive Project Management professional to manage an important infrastructure project and contribute to the growth and development of the Shire for a two-year contract.
The Project Manager will help minimise project costs and risk, provide liaison with key stakeholders, and manage all facets of project implementation whilst ensuring projects are delivered in a timely manner.
This is a part-time flexible position working approximately 6 days per fortnight. A package will be negotiated with the preferred candidate.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have tertiary construction or project management qualifications and/or extensive experience in project management of major infrastructure projects in a Local Government setting.
Strong project management, interpersonal and negotiation skills will be required to ensure the successful development and implementation of projects is achieved.
You will need to implement a collaborative approach, where all project stakeholders are provided with specific advice and expertise on all relevant project matters.
