The Shire of Murray is holding the annual Christmas on the Murray event on 7 December.

This year’s event will be held at the Murray River Square and Foreshore from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Shire President, David Bolt said the Christmas on the Murray is the perfect way to get into the spirit of Christmas and celebrate with our wonderful community.

“There will be live Christmas carols performed throughout the evening by Living Hope, Little Legends Enterprise, Tammy and the Kids, and the Mandurah Concert Band,” said Mr Bolt.

“Along with free kids activities including, Christmas crafts, a petting zoo, and face painting. Join us at 7:00pm for the lighting of the Shire of Murray’s first ever, 10-metre Christmas tree installation. So, bring a picnic rug and chairs and pop down for a lovely evening along our beautiful Murray River,” he added.

Food and drink vendors will include deliciously sweet ice-cream from Sweets on the Run, Black Velvet and Honey’s famous coffee, a sausage sizzle provided by the Lion’s Club of Pinjarra and meals from Na’Dees Cuisine Food Van. There are also local food businesses along Pinjarra’s main street open for trade.
