About the Role
The Shire of Murray, a progressive organisation located in Pinjarra, is seeking a dynamic and results-orientated Finance Officer.
This role will provide bookkeeping and administration skills to support the Senior Finance Officer. You will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions, processing and procedures, up to and including processing BAS. This will involve reconciliations, monthly journals, investments, grants, acquittals and month end processes.
The position on offer is a 12 month part-time contract, working 57 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of a permanent position being offered to the right candidate. A base salary range of $58,587 to $61,342 per annum pro-rata (plus superannuation) is on offer for this role.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The successful applicant with have previous experience in a similar role and/or accounting/administration qualifications.
