Alcoa International Horse Trials

Alcoa International Horse Trials

Alcoa International Horse Trials is an annual event and features some of WA’s biggest names in eventing.

Horse Trials or Eventing as it is commonly known in Australia and around the world, is much like a triathlon for both the horse and the rider; testing technical skills, endurance and the strength of the relationship between the horse and rider.  An Event comprises the three phases of Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country and is most commonly held over two days.  It is an Olympic Discipline sport and the only one in which men and women compete equally.
The trials will feature six different height classes from 80cm through to 1.25m in an international level comp with separate classes for competitors under 18 years of age from 80cm through to 105cm heights.
It is free to enter and families are welcome to attend. There will be trade stalls to wander around and see as well as food and drinks available for purchase.

*As Fairbridge is a working farm, there are no dogs allowed at this event.
