About the Role
The Shire of Murray, a progressive organisation located in Pinjarra, is seeking a dedicated and results-orientated professional with experience in environmental health and local government practices.
Reporting to the Manager Environmental Health, you will be responsible for ensuring Council’s obligations and statutory functions relating to Environmental Health are carried out in a professional and efficient manner in accordance with relevant policies and legislation.
Time management and customer service skills are essential elements of the role, within the Planning and Sustainability directorate.
The position on offer is a full-time position, working 76 hours across a 9-day fortnight. A Level 6 salary of between $67,879 to $71,852 per annum will be offered.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant will ideally have tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health and/or extensive experience in a similar role. Sound knowledge of local government processes, legislation, and compliance will assist. Good judgement, comprehension and interpersonal skills are essential.
