St John’s Church

Project type

Heritage, culture and events

Completion Date

April 2024

Investment

$335k

This iconic church was built in 1860. Although now deconsecrated and no longer used as a place of worship, it can be hired for community events and weddings.

The addition of a toilet block within proximity means the space can be further activated and used as a centerpiece for community events.

The church is part of Edenvale Heritage Precinct which also houses an art gallery, tea rooms, machinery museum and gardens. The toilets will be fully accessible to enable activation within the precinct.
