Cantwell Park in Pinjarra has undergone works to update the play spaces in the playground.
The accessible, wave walls, boat and swings areas are fenced off for the work and are currently unavailable.
Public toilets are still available as are the areas including the picnic space, exercise equipment, big basket swing and flying fox.
All areas are now available. Enjoy the new accessible play space, swings, slides, spinner, climbing items, sandpit’s musical play and rockers, and the sand-play boat.
The large shady play spaces, seats and picnic tables, big basket swing, flying fox and outdoor exercise equipment are all available.
Toilets, drink fountain and barbecues are close by.
Stage 1 -
Preparation of grounds for new play items - April 2022
Installation of new play items - May 2022
Work on surrounds and project completion of stage 1- June 2022
Stage 2 -
The $175K Lotterywest grant and $50,000 Alcoa grant has allowed for new items including:
- Play boat
- Shade sails
- Furniture - including seating and picnic settings close to the play spaces.

Procurement/ordering - May and June 2022
Installation of new play items - July to December 2022
Wave wall mural art project by Pinjarra Senior High School students - November 2022
Work on play space surrounds, new paths and picnic areas - to December 2022, finishing with furniture and rubber softfall installation.
