The Shire of Murray wants to provide a welcoming, accessible and inclusive community for all, and to help support that aim, we are seeking feedback from residents about how access and inclusion in the Shire can be improved.

The Disability Services Act 1993 requires all local government and selected State Government agencies to develop a plan to assist in the promotion of access and inclusion of people with a disability. A Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) acts as a framework for the implementation of strategies and initiatives to ensure people with disability are supported to have the same opportunities as others to access services, facilities and information.

By taking part in the survey, you can go in the draw to win a $50 Visa gift card to spend locally.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

All surveys will be treated in confidence. Inclusion of your name and address is optional.

Hard copies are available upon request. Please call 9531 7777 for more information. We encourage all Shire of Murray residents to take part in this consultation by visiting yoursay.murray.wa.gov.au/DAIPSurvey.
