Illegal Parking

Parking infringements must be paid in full and by the due date. Otherwise the matter will be referred to the Fines Enforcement Registry and additional costs will apply.

Payment of parking infringements:

Payments can be made:

• By post – cheque or money order made payable to the Shire of Murray, addressed to the Chief Executive Officer: PO Box 21 Pinjarra WA 6208

Appeal the infringement or nominate another driver: 

Applications/nominations must be submitted in writing and before the payment due date by:

An infringement may be reviewed if the driver can show that special circumstances contributed to receiving the infringement. Supporting evidence of exceptional circumstances may be required.

We will only accept an infringement appeal from the driver of the vehicle to which the infringement relates. Requests will not be accepted verbally by phone or in person.

You may receive an infringement if your vehicle:

• Obstructs a driveway
• Is not parked within a marked bay
• Is parked on or over a footpath
• Is parked on a verge without permission from the occupier or owner
• Is parked in an ACROD bay without a current and valid ACROD permit displayed on the dashboard
• Is parked/stopped at or near a bus stop
• Is parked/stopped contrary to parking signage
• Permits are not displayed clearly
