Community Facility Fund

Assists Murray not-for-profit organisations to upgrade, extend or construct well planned sport, recreation and community facilities that contribute to a vibrant, inclusive and healthy Murray.

Applications are invited once per year. Next round closes Friday 16 September, 2022. 

A maximum amount of $20,000 is available per community group or organisation, per annum.

Step 1.Consider your Project

Eligible projects include:

  • New buildings
  • Building additions, improvements and/or major refurbishments
  • Supporting infrastructure – e.g. fixed shelters or storage sheds
  • New sporting infrastructure – e.g. fixed goals or cricket nets

Step 3.Prepare Supporting Documentation/Information

  • Committee minutes supporting the decision for the grant application
  • Certificate of Currency for Public Liability
  • Copy of your organisations most recent bank statement and/or most recent financial statement
  • Quotes for all budget items
  • Strategic or business plan
  • Letters of support from other groups/organisations
  • Relevant drawings, plans specifications and/or maps
  • Relevant strategic planning documents (web links accepted)
