Food Stall Annual Trading Permit

A permit is required for businesses intending to sell food from a stall including mobile food vendors selling take-away food, at locations within Murray.

A trading permit generally applies for ongoing trading, while a food stall permit generally applies to occasional stalls.

Application Process

Step 1.Prepare Supporting Documents

  • Plan indicating location of proposed trading activity
  • Copy of Public Liability Insurance
  • Copy of Food Business Registration
  • Police clearance no more than thee (3) months old

Step 2.Prepare Payment

Application fee: $50

Online Applications:

We will contact you to arrange payment of the application fee.

In Person:

Cash, card, cheques and money orders are accepted.

By Post:

Cheque and money orders are accepted.

Step 3.Complete and Submit the Application Form

Step 4.Application Processing and Approval

We will process your application and issue an invoice for the annual trading fee owing. This can be paid online or in person at the Shire of Murray Administration Office. Please refer to the Fees and Charges(PDF, 3MB) document for indicative costs.
