The Shire of Murray is seeking volunteers to help bring its LiveLighter Pinjarra Festival 2017 to life.
Murray’s largest community event will take place at the iconic Edenvale Homestead on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June over the WA Day long weekend.
Each year over 12,000 people head to the popular family friendly festival in the heart of Pinjarra, to enjoy the Festival’s array of activities and entertainment which in 2017 will include live music, performers, interactive workshops, market stalls, local food, amusements, vintage car display and much more.
“The Shire appreciates the strong community support the Festival receives each year, particularly from volunteers who set aside a few hours to assist at the event.
“Volunteering provides a great opportunity for community members to dabble in event management and contribute to community life,” said Shire President Cr. Maree Reid.
The Shire is seeking assistance with event set up and pull down and general hand responsibilities.
