Tip Passes
Tip passes are provided to ratepayers who have domestic rubbish collection service. Only six passes will be provided and should you require any additional tip passes you will have to purchase them for $79.00 from the Shire Offices.
Council is currently offering all rural residents the opportunity to purchase a rural tipping voucher for $137.00 including GST. This tipping voucher entitles rural residents who are not provided with a mobile garbage bin service to utilise the Waste Management facilities at both Corio Road and Dwellingup. This voucher may be used to dispose of 1m3 of waste only per week.
Public Holiday Rubbish Collections
If your rubbish or recycling day falls on Christmas Day or New Years Day alternate collection arrangements will be advertised in local papers.
Servicing of rubbish and recycling bins on all other public holidays remain unchanged. Please ensure that bins are out by 6am.
Transfer Stations
The Shire of Murray has two waste Transfer Stations located at Corio Road, Ravenswood and Dwellingup.
Corio Road Waste Transfer Station
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm
Saturday & Sunday 9:00am to 5:00pm
Dwellingup Transfer Station
Wednesday & Friday 3:00pm to 5:00pm Saturday & Sunday 1:00pm to 5:00pm
These facilities will NOT accept asbestos under any circumstances
No loads in excess of 5m3 will be accepted and will be redirected to alternative locations.
