Cemetery

The Pinjarra Cemetery is managed by the Shire Of Murray's Technical Services Department and has been since the 1960's. The Pinjarra Cemetery has burials dating back to the late 1800's many of which are unmarked.

The Pinjarra Cemetery is made up of several different burial sections, which includes the following:

  • Roman Catholic
  • Anglican
  • Uniting Church
  • Pioneer
  • Niche Wall
  • Non Denominational
  • Lawn Cemetery
  • Garden Niche Wall
  • Memorial Gardens

 

FUNERALS

Burials are permitted to take place in the Pinjarra Cemetery Tuesday - Friday between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm. Forty-Eight hours notice is required to conduct a burial and a Burial Application Form must be presented to the Technical Services Department in order for a burial to take place.

CEMETERY INFOMATION REQUEST

The Technical Services Department receives many requests for information regarding grave locations and grave details from family members and historians. Should you require information pertaining to grave in the Pinjarra Cemetery, please complete an infomation request form and email it to us at mailbag@murray.wa.gov.au  . We will endeavour to provide you with as much information as available.
