Murray’s annual Pinjarra Festival, the district’s largest, free community event, returns to Edenvale Homestead this WA Day long weekend.
On Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 June, Murray’s distinctive history, vibrancy and lifestyle will be celebrated through an array of attractions including live entertainment, children’s workshops, arts and crafts, heritage displays and amusement rides.
According to Shire President Cr. David Bolt, the Pinjarra Festival grows in stature each year with the 2017 event welcoming over 15,000 attendees from surrounding regional and metropolitan areas including Peel, Rockingham, South West and Perth.
“The festival is an opportunity for attendees of all ages to immerse themselves in Murray life by experiencing the region’s recreational draw cards,” Cr. Bolt said.
With preparations well underway, applications are now sought from market and food stallholders.
Event organisers are also seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced vendors to manage the festival’s Cart Shed – a licensed area within the festival grounds.
Application forms can be downloaded below or obtained by contacting the Shire’s Events Officer on (08) 9531 7777.
Expressions of interest close Sunday 25 March, while stallholder applications close 5:00pm Monday 2 April, 2018.
