Our Council is currently made up of twelve Councillors. Councillors have been chosen by the local community to represent them by making decisions which support your needs.

The Shire of Murray consists of 6 wards; Pinjarra, North West, South, West, East, North.

Elections for each Council position are held every 4 years.

Council meets on a monthly basis to ratify policies and make decisions that affect our Shire.  Council meetings commence with PUBLIC QUESTION TIME at 9.00 am.  Anyone wishing to ask a question(s) should complete a Public Question Time Form and either email (mailbag@murray.wa.gov.au) or submit in written or typed format to the Chief Executive Officer at the Shire of Murray, PO Box 21, Pinjarra WA 6208.
