The Shire of Murray Community Services Team is here to work with, promote and encourage community and cultural development. Some of the various areas of involvement include youth, seniors, heritage, tourism,  events, sport and recreation, grant sourcing and more.

The Shire of Murray comprises of 9 townships ;

Pinjarra - Dwellingup - Ravenswood - South Yunderup - North Yunderup -
Barragup - Furnissdale - Coolup - North Dandalup
 
The Shire of Murray is known for its vibrant and diverse Community Events. From the Pinjarra Festival to the Coolup Campdraft, these events appeal to many. However the most significant aspect about them is their ability to bring people together to celebrate and have fun in their community.
