Community Network Forums
Community Networking Forums were introduced by the Shire of Murray in November 2010. The forums, which are hosted twice per year, are intended to educate, upskill and provide networking opportunities to volunteers, ensuring that community groups and not for profit organisations remain supported and sustainable in the long term.
The Community Networking Forums take place in the evenings to accommodate those who are not able to attend during the day. The forums take place in February and September each year concluding with light refreshments and a networking opportunity. The events are also a great opportunity to get to know Shire of Murray Staff who are in attendance.

Club Development Program
The Club Development Program delivered by the Shire of Murray’s Recreation and Community Development Team, provides support and assistance to local community groups. The program focuses on assisting clubs to meet industry standards, develop long term plans for the future, and provides assistance to access vital funding and other support services. Assistance is provided through education sessions, newsletters and one on one support.
