Welcome to Murray Leisure Centre Health Club!

Our facilities include a large fully equipped gymnasium complete with pin loaded machines, free weight training area and cardiovascular equipment.

The Centre offers an extensive range of membership options including 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 12 month and Direct Debit memberships. Corporate memberships are available to local businesses with 5 or more employees joining to receive the discounted price.

Youth Pass
12 – 18 years includes daily entry to indoor courts plus lap and lesiure pools (excludes hydrotherapy pool)

Youth Membership
12 – 18 years, ongoing direct debit includes access to courts, pools, group fitness and teen gym sessions.

Aqua Membership
Unlimited access to swimming pools.

Bronze (One option)
Aquatic, Group Fitness or Gymnasium. This allows you to only choose one area that you would like to participate in (ie. Gymnasium only)

Silver (Two options)
Aquatic, Group Fitness or Gymnasium. This allows you to choose two areas that you would like to participate in (ie. Group Fitness and Gymnasium)

Gold (All three options including Hydrotherapy)
Aquatic, Group Fitness, Gymnasium and Hydrotherapy. This allows you to participate in all Aquatic, Group Fitness and Gymnasium areas.

Elite (All three options including Hydrotherapy and Creche)

Group Fitness Classes



Classes are designed to improve the lifestyle of our participants through weight loss, muscle tone, increased fitness and confidence. Countless studies have shown that boxing and kickboxing classes are a great way to improve physical health and fitness whilst contributing to weight loss and overall body strength. Boxing classes are taught by highly qualified and experienced instructors. Everyone is welcome to join in our classes and most of all, no experience is necessary.


Based on scientific research, this 30 minute program is the ultimate way to get a tight and toned core. With dynamic training which hones in on your abs, glutes, back, obliques and slings” connecting the upper and lower body this workout will leave you looking good and feeling strong.


Is the indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training. Discover your athlete within – sweat and burn to reach your endorphin high.


Is an evidenced based program in the gymnasium that encourages and supports change in the health and fitness sectors to achieve improved health, quality of life and fitness of people aged over 50 years.

Hatha yoga is perfect for those who are new to Yoga, who would like to refresh their practice or simply for those who enjoy going back to the basics. Learn breathing techniques that will enable you to be more present for your practice. Hatha Yoga is a journey of self-discovery, reconnection and exploration whilst promoting good health, strength, balance and relaxation.


This yoga practice involves deep stretching and holding of postures or asanas for lengthy periods of time. Various props (bolsters, blocks, cushions & blankets) are provided to support the students, as they hold poses. Yin Yang Yooga can be a challenging but very rewarding practice.

Aquatic Group Fitness


Is one type of low impact exercise that can be a lot of fun, a good place to meet people, and help keep your muscles active. One of the great things about our Fab 50s water aerobics is that it is very versatile. It can effectively work every joint and muscle in the body, or only one, depending on your level of fitness. Eventually, you can even begin using water weights, which help increase resistance.


Is a 45 min therapeutic class done in the Hydrotherapy pool promoting joint mobilisation, muscle strengthening and general fitness. Especially designed for people with special needs e.g. arthritis or who are recovering from surgery.

Personal Training

Personal Training is an exclusive one-on-one or small group exercise program especially designed for you. Your trainer will motivate you to overcome barriers and drive you to achieve incredible results in a short period of time.

Personal Training is ideal for people with a disability or injury who are unable to perform normal physical exercise, as we can develop specific program to build strength and help you manage day to day activities.

Workouts and training sessions are conducted throughout the Centre with the use of exclusive equipment and techniques available to Personal Training clients only. Sessions can be purchased in half hour or one-hour blocks, individually or multi-pack for extra savings.
