    2009 Nanga Music Festival

    The 2009 Nanga Music Festival continues its celebration of acoustic and folk music with a stunning range of local and interstate artists gathered under the tall trees at Nanga Bush Camp near Dwellingup, WA. Running from Friday October 9th through until Sunday October 11th, the Nanga Music Festival is all things acoustic; from bush ballads to blues, from Celtic to contemporary and traditional folk, showcased by a collection of WA’s finest artists balanced with an exciting mix of interstate performers.

    Cantwell Park Community Consultation

    The Shire of Murray is currently in the process of developing a public play space at Cantwell Park which is located along the banks of the Murray River in the heart of Pinjarra townsite. As part of a proactive approach, the Shire of Murray is conducting a community consultation forum where the concept plans will be presented. Workshops will be held at the following times: 3.00pm or 6.30pm.

    Hotham Way Tourist Route

    The Hotham Way will be using existing roads and has been created to draw tourists and travellers away from the coastal run and into the largely unexplored eastern part of the Upper Great Southern region of Western Australia. It is a highly interesting landscape with undulating scenery through bush, farmland and timberland.
