Let the past come alive as you visit the places where the early mill workers and families lived and worked in and around the Dwellingup townsite.

You will see the mill, which has been on this site since 1910, the boarding house, which was originally located at Banksiadale, and was the mill managers home.

Further on you will pass by the Dwellingup Cemetery which possibly dates from 1909, though is impossible to validate as all records, including burial records prior to 1961 were destroyed in the 1961 Bush Fire.

You will also see some of the oldest homes in Dwellingup in Solya Crescent and the RSL which was originally the Marrinup School that opened on 12 June 1911.

The Heritage Garden which is ablaze with colour and perfume in spring from the many rose bushes planted by Mick French, whose stood on this site from the early 1900’s.
