Brush-Tailed Phascogale
(Phascogale tapoatafa)

With no fear of heights these fantastic climbers spend much of their lives, 25 metres above the forest floor in the branches of jarrah trees.

The Brush-tailed phascogale has a distinctive black bush tail with a grey coat of fur.  It has a narrow face, large eyes with blue around the iris and large, pointed ears.  They have long dexterous toes with sharp claws, and quite flexible feet, allowing for easy climbing.
