The Shire of Murray has a variety of Community and Sporting facilities available for hire. The facilities range in size and functionality from small meeting rooms to large halls capable of holding 300 people, and sporting ovals for sporting and other major or special events.
There are certain conditions that apply based on the type of event you plan. Make sure you read our Conditions available on the right hand side of this page (Note that bookings can be requested online, just pick the venue you are after, there will be clear instructions how to book online.)
Regular Bookings:
- Events where no Alcohol or Food will be served and will have 50 or less attendees.
Special Events:
- Events requiring Alcohol or Food permits or events that will have more than 50 attendees.
These type of bookings must be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance. - Special Events may require more information to be submitted. An officer of the Shire will get in contact with the customer to inform them of this additional requirements.

Lucie Hunter Park |
A beautiful reserve for a stroll by the waterfront or for a wedding service and photographs under the pergola. | |
Murray River Country Estate Oval |
Located in a great recreation area next to a children's playground and tennis courts, this oval is used for hockey and cricket. | |
