Murray residents are invited to a second workshop to discuss matters related to heritage on Tuesday 6 March from 1.00pm at the Edenvale Community Meeting Rooms following a healthy debate during the first workshop held in February.
The February workshop attracted an enthusiastic crowd to discuss all matters relating to heritage including local buildings, sustainability and possible initiatives for the Shire’s Heritage Strategy which is currently under development.
Shire of Murray’s Shire President Wally Barrett said the first workshop was so well received, and there was a call for another to continue much-needed discussions about local heritage for the benefit of the Local Heritage Strategy currently under development.
“If you did not attend the first workshop, the second workshop planned for March is the perfect opportunity to have your say on this important issue,” Cr Barrett said.
Residents unable to attend the workshop are encouraged to have their say through to the extended consultation deadline of Friday 23 March. Survey are available to complete on the right or in hardcopy at the Shire of Murray’s Administration Office,1915 Pinjarra Road, Pinjarra or Murray Library, corner Pinjarra Road and Forrest Street.
