By Train
The Australind train service departs twice daily from Perth Railway Station. It stops at Armadale, Byford, ,Mundijong, Serpentine, North Dandalup and Pinjarra.
The journey to Pinjarra takes just over an hour, and the Pinjarra Visitor Centre is located at the train station. You must book Australind tickets in advance.
By car
It takes less than an hour to drive from Perth to the Shire of Murray via the Kwinana Freeway. Take the Pinjarra Rd exit when leaving the freeway.

If you prefer a more scenic route, then the South-West Highway is a good option. If you are driving south from Perth it starts in Armadale.

If you are driving north from WA's south-west, then the South-West Highway starts in Bunbury.

For those approaching the shire from the east, the Pinjarra/Williams road is a pretty drive.
